The idea of owning synchronicity is an extension of comprehending synchronicity, and more broadly, integrating your highest levels of truth—or your beliefs—about the nature of reality.
Having TRUE ownership of your creations and what happens to you in your life is not an activity of the ego; it is a balancing of the wisdom of both the mind and the heart.
It is my truth that we all have a fundamental belief—either consciously or subconsciously—that we are either the creator of our experience or the victim of it. I do not see any real middle ground here other than the process of moving from one to the other.
Where most people get hung up on this idea, and its application is when we discuss experiences relating to what we call trauma, or more judgmentally, “bad things.” The purpose is essential, “I would never choose for such terrible things to happen to me, or to happen to people that I love. Therefore, I am not the creator of this experience because I would have done things differently if I were.”
There is irony in this statement because it is both true and false.
This statement necessitates a belief that the individual is making it is separate and apart from the experience as well as the reaction to the experience. In that dimension, this is, in fact, a true statement. A person or individual consciousness that perceives itself to be separate from its experience IS NOT EXPERIENCING ITSELF TO BE the creator of the experience. Because this idea of separation itself is a choice, it is an illusionary experience—an experience that feels and looks and tastes “real” in the definition that we use for “real,” but is entirely determined by taking that perspective.
Therefore, when we chose to experience ourselves as separate from all that we sense and all that we intuit, everything within that experience IS TRUE for us.
A less-limited belief that an individual could choose to hold is that they are unified with everything that they experience. In essence, there is nothing that separates that which is experienced and the experiencer. In this dimension of existence, the idea that something could be encountered that is not within the free will of the experiencer is not valid—it does not resonate.
Both of these perspectives that we can choose to take basically can be understood to operate within a range of energetic frequencies.
When we operate within the dimension of separation (that is to say we chose to see things as separate and unconnected to each other and, most importantly, to our idea of self), we are vibrating at that moment at a particular frequency. This frequency, via the Law of Attraction or, more accurately, the Law of Coherence, resonates with its like counterparts in the physical reality, creating the reflection of the experience of separation.
When we operate within the dimension of unification (that is to say we chose to see things as unified and deeply connected to each other and, most importantly, virtually identical to our idea of self), we are vibrating at that moment at another particular frequency. This frequency, via the Law of Coherence, resonates with its counterparts in the physical reality, creating the reflection of the experience of unification.
If we choose to see our experience as separate from who we perceive ourselves to be, then we are choosing to believe that we ARE NOT the creator of our reality.
If we choose to see our experience as connected to or unified with, who we perceive ourselves to be, then we are choosing to believe that we ARE the creator of our reality.
This idea extends FAR beyond the moments of synchronistic events. However, synchronicity allows us to practice the choice of creatorship in a way that is meaningful, tangible, experiential, trackable, and sustainable.
Shifting from the vibratory state of separation into the vibratory state of unification, is, in my belief system, why I chose to incarnate in the first place. To experience that which seems NOT to BE me, and to go through the process of recognizing and integrating that it is.
We can begin to own our synchronicities by, after experiencing a synchronistic event, merely asking ourselves the question, “Why did I choose to give myself that experience?” Then, through meditation and silencing the mind, await an intuitive response. If we keep asking, we will keep getting more clear and more precise answers.
Asking this question IMPLIES that you have a belief system that states that you ARE the creator of your experience. By doing this, you are naturally and organically shifting yourself into a different range of frequencies.
By having the perspective of what I am saying as “owning” your synchronicities, you are bringing them closer to your energetic alignment, getting clearer on who you are, and providing yourself an ability to more easily have the experiences that you more deeply desire to have.
